We did the Elfed version for Christmas last year & figured we would get the Booed one going around our neighborhood this year.
I thought this FREE sign & directions from Tom Kat Studios were super cute so I printed them on landscape at 59% (you can go to print preview to adjust it) & added them to the bags.
We then filled the bags with a few goodies that we had extras of with our Favorite Things Party & a little bit of candy.
We tied a pumpkin on the front & let the kids know the plan - Jayce & I were in charge of the drop off (by the front doors), Nevaeh was in charge of ringing the doorbell & running when Jayce & I were almost back to the car and Albie was our lookout (ding-dong-ditch). They were nervous & SO EXCITED - ah the little things!!!
We did our drop offs around 8pm. We figured that was just late enough for people to be home but not to late & dark enough that we could be a little sneaky.
It's a fun little tradition to start with the kids. If you haven't been Booed yet get it started in your neighborhood - remember, sometimes it's the little things!
*I don't recommend anything homemade - this is supposed to be a surprise with who dropped off your bag & I know I wouldn't eat anything that wasn't prepackaged & definitely wouldn't let the kiddos. Sad but true...
