Silly Elf - 005 - Brought a Friend

We have a bi-racial family so my children have always been aware that everyone looks different and it is a blessing.

So last night Joey brought a friend back with him from the North Pole to let the kids know that not all elves look the same either!

Joey brought a friend back with him!

No little eyes please...Letter from KK

Print this out before your elf's first Christmas.
If you want you can put the letter in an envelope with North Pole return address.

This letter is for PERSONAL USE ONLY!!!

Print out the Santa stationary then put the stationary back into the printer to print the letter on it.

Happy Holidays!

I just wanted to send you a quick letter to let you know that one of my elves will be coming to your house very soon. They are in their final stages of ETS - Elf Training School and as soon as they graduate one will be coming your way.

When your elf gets there be sure that you name him or her right away. Also be sure not to play with them or touch them because little hands can make their Christmas magic go away.

Your elf will help me by keeping an eye on you and then coming to the North Pole at night to let me know how you are doing. When you wake up the next day keep an eye out for them because sometimes they hide in crazy spots or do silly things.

Always be good & always do your best!
See you soon!

Love,
Santa

I think they got the idea from Jayce...

Silly Elf!

Every night the elves return to the North Pole to give Santa updates on how the little ones are behaving.  They sometimes do silly things when they get back or they end up in silly places.

Our house wasn't feeling very well this past week & Joey caught what was going around so one night so he didn't make it back to the NP.  He left the kids a note the next day to let them know why he hadn't moved.

silly things our elves have done!

If you aren't familiar with the concept here is a quick overview - Santa sends some of his elf helpers to children's homes to help keep an eye on the kiddos. The elves fly home to the North Pole every night to let Santa know how the kids were that day.

Upon returning, the elves end up in crazy places or do silly little things.

Christmas Elf - The Elf on the Shelf Story (book)

Video from Elf on the Shelf

  • On Christmas Eve night all of the Elves will be picked up by Santa to help him deliver the toys and they will return to the North Pole for a much needed rest! Although it is sad to see the Elf go, this special friend will magically return each year to celebrate Christmas again. However, since a whole year is so long for some Elves to stay away, they occasionally drop back in briefly for birthdays and other special occasions, with parents’ permission of course!              Taken from Elf Magic
