HOPE - Operation Christmas Child Warehouse

Jordan & I volunteered at the Operation Christmas Child Warehouse for the first time last Wednesday.
It was so amazing to see how may people were so generous to give so many gifts and so much of their time to bless children around the world.

They had stations and teams that worked together to inspect EVERY box.
We had to make sure that there was NO money - not even a penny, no items that can leak, no food or chocolate and no Pokemon or Harry Potter (just to name a few) because children's lives could be jeopardized with those types of things.

Jordan did a GREAT job - so proud!
I know he was tired - I had picked him up right from basketball after a long day at school to work for 3 hours but he has such a good heart & he was excited to help.

If you would like to volunteer next Christmas check and see where the closest warehouse is then call around October to schedule your volunteer time.  They fill up VERY quickly and have to turn 1000s of people away...which is actually a good problem to have!
If you can't get to a warehouse consider filling a box or two.  Even the smallest things that we take for granted can bless a child in more ways than we could EVER imagine!
